Char Dham - x Delhi

Importance of Char Dham Yatra:

  • Spiritual Significance: It is believed that visiting the Char Dham washes away sins and helps attain moksha (liberation).

  • Hindu Tradition: Every devout Hindu aims to undertake this yatra at least once in a lifetime.

  • Cultural Unity: The yatra connects devotees from across India and the world, promoting religious harmony and devotion.

Mythological Significance:

  1. Yamunotri: Goddess Yamuna is the sister of Yama (God of Death). Bathing here is said to protect one from untimely death.

  2. Gangotri: The Ganga descended from heaven to Earth through Lord Shiva’s hair to purify the souls. It represents divine purification.

  3. Kedarnath: According to legend, Lord Shiva hid here in the form of a bull to avoid the Pandavas. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.

  4. Badrinath: Lord Vishnu meditated here, and Goddess Lakshmi took the form of a tree to shield him. It is a symbol of divine devotion and protection.

Together, the Char Dham reflect the presence of Shiva, Vishnu, and divine goddesses, making the yatra spiritually powerful.

Tour Itenary

Day 01: DELHI – HARIDWAR (230kms/5-6HRS)

On Arrival Delhi Airport / Delhi Railway Station, our driver will pick you further drive to Haridwar. On arrival check in at the hotel. After fresh up visit Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi, and perform evening Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 02: HARIDWAR – BARKOT (180 KMS/ 6 -7HRS) 

Our driver will pick you up from Haridwar then smooth drive to Barkot enroute visit Kempty fall. On arrival check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 03: BARKOT – YAMUNOTRI – BARKOT{ 6kms Trek (one side)} Height: 3235 MTS.

Early morning after breakfast drive to Jankichatti / Phoolchatti & start your trek for Yamunotri (6kms) (Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost). After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund’s warm water have “Darshan” of “Yamunaji” and then return to Jankichatti by trek. Later after visiting Syanchatti drive towards Barkot. Dinner and overnight stay at Barkot.

 

Day 04: BARKOT – UTTARKASHI (120 Kms/ 3-4 Hrs) 

Morning after breakfast, relax for a while, then check out from the hotel. Later drive to Uttarkashi. visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple at Uttarkashi. After that, check in at the hotel. Day free for rest. Dinner and Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
 

Day 05: UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI- UTTARKASHI (100kms/3-4 Hrs each side)

Early morning after breakfast drive to Gangotri, take a holy dip in Garam Kund, further drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil Valley. Harsil is famous for its nature beauty and for the majestic views of the Deodar trees and mountains. On arrival at Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja and Darshan, after that relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Later drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner and overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
 

Day 06: UTTARKASHI – GUPTKASHI (220kms/7-8 Hrs) Height: 1319 MTS.

Morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi Enroute you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini River comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check in at the hotel after arrival in Guptakashi. Dinner and overnight stay at Guptakashi.

 

Day 07: GUPTKASH/PHATA – KEDARNATH (16kms Trek one way) 

  • Early morning check out from the hotel and then proceed to Kedarnath. On arrival check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Kedarnath.
     

  • By Trek: Morning our driver will drop you at Sonprayag then you have to take local jeep for Gourikund & then your trek starts for kedarnath ji.

  • By Helicopter: Morning our driver will transfer you your pre-book Helipad. After Back from Kedarnath. Our driver will drop you at hotel for rest.
     

Day 08: KEDARNATH – PHATA/GUPTKASHI (16kms Trek one way) 

Early morning, after Temple Darshan trek down to GaurKund. Then drive return to Guptkashi. Check in at the Hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 09: GUPTKASHI – BADRINATH (190kms/7-8 Hrs) 

Morning after breakfast, proceed to Badrinath via Pipalkoti/Joshimath. On arrival check in at the hotel, rest of the day is free for Rest. Dinner and overnight stay at Badarinath hotel.
 

Day 10: BADRINATH – RUDRAPRAYAG (140kms/4-5HRS)

Early morning, have bath in the Taptkund and have the Darshan of Badrivishal and spend sometime near the temple ,later drive towards Rudraprayag, On arrival check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 11: RUDRAPRYAG – Rishikesh (140/4-5HRS)

Morning after breakfast, Drive to Rishikesh, check in to The Hotel, after rest, go for the Sightseeing – Ram Jhoola, Laxman Jhoola, Parmarth Ashram, Attend Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat. Dinner & Overnight Stay in Rishikesh.

 

Day 12: Rishikesh – DELHI (230kms/5-6HRS) 

Morning after breakfast, our driver will drop you at Delhi Airport/Delhi Railway Station.
