Kedarnath is one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and holds great significance in Shaivism. According to legend, Lord Shiva appeared here in the form of a bull to avoid the Pandavas. The temple is accessible by a high-altitude trek and is surrounded by snow-capped peaks.
Badrinath is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India, dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his form as Badrinarayan. It is located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, at an altitude of 3,300 meters, nestled between the Nar and Narayan Mountain ranges along the banks of the holy Alaknanda River.
According to Hindu mythology, Lord Vishnu came to Badrinath to meditate and attain peace. To protect him from the harsh weather, Goddess Lakshmi transformed herself into a Badri tree, offering shade and shelter—thus the name Badrinath (Lord of Badri).
Tour Itenary
Day 1: Dehradun/ Haridwar – Guptkashi (201 km / 5 To 6 Hrs)
Arrival at Dehradun/ Haridwar Airport/ Station. Transfer to Guptkashi and Check-in at Hotel. Dinner & Overnight at Guptkashi.
Day 2: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (16kms Trek one way)
Early Morning after Breakfast drive to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag take a Local Jeep/ Maxi (at your own cost) to reach Gaurikund. From Gaurikund Trek to Shri Kedarnath Temple. Later Check-in to Hotel at Kedarnath. Dinner & Overnight at Kedarnath.
Day 3: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (16kms Trek one way)
Early Morning after Breakfast Trek to Gaurikund. From Gaurikund take a Local Jeep/ Maxi (at your own cost) to reach Sonprayag. From Sonprayag drive to Guptkashi and Check-in at Hotel. Dinner & Overnight at Guptkashi.
Day 4: Guptkashi - Badrinath (190kms/7-8 Hrs)
Early Morning after Breakfast Transfer to Badrinath. En route visit Chopta Valley. Evening Badrinath Temple Darshan if Time permits. Dinner & Overnight at Badrinath.
Day 5: Badrinath – Rudraprayag (150kms/4-5 Hrs)
Early Morning after Breakfast visit Temples around Badrinath. Later Drive to Rudraprayag and Check-in at Hotel. Dinner & overnight at Rudraprayag.
Day 6: Rudraprayag to Haridwar/ Dehradun Drop (201 km / 5 To 6 Hrs)
After Breakfast Transfer to Haridwar/ Dehradun Station/ Airport. En route Rishikesh Sightseeing. The Tour concludes with Happy Memories.
