Tour Itenary

Day 1: Arrival in Gangtok

Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and driven through the beautiful Teesta River valley to Gangtok, the charming capital of Sikkim (approx. 4–5 hrs drive). On reaching, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, you may take a leisurely stroll at MG Marg, the heart of Gangtok, lined with cafés, shops, and local markets. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast, set out for a full-day excursion to the stunning Tsomgo Lake, situated at an altitude of 12,400 ft. This glacial lake is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and is revered as sacred by locals. Continue your journey to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a temple dedicated to the memory of an Indian Army soldier known as the “Hero of Nathula.” For those interested, an optional excursion to Nathula Pass (Indo-China border, subject to permits and extra cost) can also be arranged. Return to Gangtok by evening, enjoy dinner, and relax at your hotel. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 3: Gangtok to Darjeeling

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your drive to Darjeeling (approx. 4 hrs), one of India’s most famous hill stations. The route offers breathtaking views of valleys, rivers, and tea gardens. On arrival, check into your hotel and rest. In the evening, you can explore Mall Road and Chowrasta, enjoy local shopping, and sip a cup of Darjeeling tea at one of the colonial-style cafés. Dinner and overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 4: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Start early at around 4:00 AM for an excursion to Tiger Hill, the most famous sunrise point in Darjeeling, where the first rays of the sun light up Mt. Kanchenjunga. On your way back, visit the iconic Batasia Loop, known for its spiral railway track and War Memorial, and the serene Ghoom Monastery. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour covering the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre, and the peaceful Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda. You may also opt for a thrilling ride on the Darjeeling Ropeway for panoramic valley views. In the evening, spend time shopping at local markets or relax in the heritage cafés like Glenary’s or Keventer’s. Dinner and overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 5: Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive back to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (approx. 3–4 hrs). Your tour ends here with unforgettable memories of the Himalayas, tea gardens, and snow-capped peaks.
